Ecco arrivare puntuali le Nomination per gli Eisner Award 2016, gli Oscar del fumettomondo.

Quest’anno gli Eisner si tingono di “rosa”, ben 49 donne hanno ricevuto 61 nomination (l’anno scorso solo 44) e sono presenti in 27 categorie su 30: Migliore Nuova Serie, Miglior Pubblicazione per Bambini, Miglior Addattamento da un altro Medium, Miglior Graphic Album–Ristampa, Miglior Colorazione e Miglior Lavoro Scolastico/AccademicoLe donne con più nomination, 3 a testa, sono Colleen Coover per “Bandette” e Joëlle Jones per “Lady Killer” e “Brides of Helheim“. Mentre ne hanno 2 a testa: Erica Henderson, candidata come Miglior Penciller/Inker per “Unbeatable Squirrel Girl” e “Jughead“; Lucy Knisley, candidata come Miglior Writer/Artist per “Displacement: A Travelogue“; Marjorie Liu, candidata come Miglior Scrittrice per “Monstress“; e Sydney Padova candidata come Miglior Writer/Artist per “The Thrilling Adventures of Lovelace and Babbage“.
