Il creatore di The Walking Dead Robert Kirkman, così come lo showrunner Scott Gimple, hanno più volte confermato che Negan, il disturbante e disturbato villain del comic book, sarabbe stato introdotto anche nella serie TV prima o poi.

Negan potrebbe arrivare relativamente presto. Nuke The Fridge riporta infatti la notizia che Kevin Durand, attualmente uno dei protagonisti di The Strain ed ex membro del cast di Lost, avrebbe detto di essere stato avvicinato per interpretare Negan. Queste le sue parole: 
“I’ve had a lot of people with The Walking Dead talk to me, mentioned that they see me for a character named ‘Negan,’ but I haven’t read the comic.”

E’ da chiarire se queste persone che lo hanno avvicinato siano dei produttori della AMC o dei suoi colleghi attori che lavorano a The Walking Dead. Quel che è certo, però, è che Durand somiglia non poco a Negan.
